HELLO 2018!!


Happy New Year precious people,
We have excitedly entered into 2018 and so much is being said about focus and resolutions and goals and so on but not to worry, all you need to do is let your heart guide you. Take what is necessary for your growth this year and stay with it...like @Aromeadah says, '...consistency is the rule of the game.'

I saw this write up on social media and it was very apt for this platform (ladies and guys alike) and so I thought to share..so enjoy and identify who you best must be in 2018.


Be an *Esther*, bold and courageous enough to stand for the truth, to voice your opinion and fight for the good of others, even when it means to sacrifice yourself. If God has put you in a position, it is for a purpose. Never be afraid to heed to that inner voice. 

Be a *Ruth*, loyal in all your relationships, walk the extra mile and don’t quit when things get tough. Someday, you’ll see why it was all worth the effort. 

Be a *Lydia*, let your homes be open, let your hands be generous, let your hearts be big enough to help anyone in need. Joy is greatest when shared. 

Be a *Hannah*, never cease to pray. It will never be in vain. 

Be a *Mary*, humble and submissive. You don’t have to be great for God to use you, you just need to obey. 

Be a *Dorcas*, use your talents, however small it may seem to bring a smile on someone’s face. You’ll never know how much it can mean to someone. 

Be an *Abigail*, remember how each decision can turn your life around for good or bad. Be wise. 

Be an *Elizabeth*, never doubt what God can do. Miracles do happen. 

Be a *Mary Magdalene*, never let your mistakes and judgment of other people stop you from experiencing true joy in Jesus. 

Be a *Rebekah*, never forget that true beauty lies within. Draw your man closer to God through your character.

Let's just pretend that I've been with you all this while, posting and sharing but I missed you all here. BE YOURSELF

BE YOU Every once in a while, we come across people who are far away from who they originally are, they have become photocopies, or prototypes and I dare say even counterfeits of themselves…its amazing how one can move away from one’s true self and very quickly too. People have become imitators of others; people they call mentors, celebrities, their parents or siblings, friends and even random individuals, all in the bid to be accepted or something like that. With this beautiful age of social media with Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat etc and reality shows, people have easy and unrestricted access to people’s ‘fake’ lives whether private or public and as you constantly feast on these shows and these profiles in the name of entertainment or keeping up with trends you start to change. You begin to subtly accept and agree with their ways, start to think like them and eventually begin to act like them. CHANCE OR NOT

Ludo is quite an interesting game for me. I like it because I can think through and be strategic about my moves before making them and I can quickly recover from an opponent’s hard hit and make a comeback. Some say it’s a game of chance that can only be decided by a throw of the dice but then again, life hands us things sometimes that we must make the best out of. So this is my story… I was playing ludo with someone recently and the winner would be decided after five rounds of the game, so I cracked my knuckles, rolled up my sleeves, mentally psyched myself and thought “easy peasy, she can’t even stand my skills; I GAT THIS!!” So we started to play and yours truly was waving her bragging rights high in the sky like a banner for an upcoming election.
