REDEEMED FROM DESTRUCTION
Completely healed...Glory to God!
On the 20th of August, my sister and some her friends were travelling to Lokoja from Abuja after a concert and they were involved in a ghastly accident. The vehicle they were in had a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle and their car toppled over and somersaulted multiple times but all six of them in the vehicle came out alive…glory to God!
They had some cuts and bruises so they were taken to a hospital to clean them up and run tests to be sure they didn’t have internal injuries. My sister got home (Lokoja) that evening with a very swollen face and her body in severe pains from the impact and the somersaulting. At that time she was the crown queen of her higher institution and was due to handover her crown to another queen; this was to take place on Saturday the 25th of August…we really didn’t think she would make that event so we started to suggest that her school postpones the event for her to heal. That evening, I spoke with her on the phone and prayed with her – somewhat casually - that she would experience the healing power of God and her body would heal with speed and we both said amen.
We thank God for her life as it is for signs and wonders, she is alive, hale and hearty and she handed over successfully on the 25th of August as planned…it can only be God so we give him praise for He has done marvelous things for us!

Psalm 103:4, Psalm 91:1-16,
This is after two days...face a little swollen.

On the day of the event...still with the crown.

BE ENCOURAGED!

It's absolutely amazing to know that all you ever hoped to be, do or have is already in you. it's true and that's as plain as it gets..."Christ in me the hope of glory..." Sometimes we feel like we need to study more, acquire more knowledge and insight to prepare and equip us for what God has put in our hearts to do but guess what, all that 'equipment', resource, skill, talent, flair, gift that we need is already in us and what we need to do is STEP OUT!! Step out in faith on God's instruction on what he wants you to do. Don't wait to have an exclusive one on one interview with @tarafeladurotoye or @moabudu or any of your own mentors/role models to understand how they became who they are before you step out. Those opportunities are priceless and I advise that you jump at an exclusive chat with any of your mentors but don't seat on your bum and just wait! You'll be waiting for a long time but once you step out, I guarantee you that yo...

HAPPY 2020

Hey Y'all, So my daughter had a meltdown yesterday! Her insides were literally melting and running out through the entry and exit points and I was stunned by how fast her strength was deteriorating, her movements were becoming slow and how my bubbly, smiling, in-charge ‘Jesus-toddler’ was changing - and for not so good – right before my eyes. I was quiet. I watched. I held her and I rocked her back and forth and watched as at intervals her body rumbled and rejected the very things that give it vitality and strength. I was quiet! I was listening, listening for my heart but while at this, my deceiving ex was whispering, coaxing and even shouting at me, telling me the things that were wrong with my child but I was quiet and I listened. Then I heard it! I heard it over and over again by the friendly familiar voice and He said “STAND BY YOUR SACRIFICE…” At that point I knew we were under attack and I was being instructed by our Captain how to...

PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS

There they are, sitting bright and sunny perched delicately, waiting to be unwrapped to reveal the creamy yummy goodness that is so sweet and decadent, smoothe and cool to the touch. Yes; ripe and ready to eat bananas are fancy like that. Lol, perfect! right?! But what would you say about overripe bananas? Sitting at the back of the kitchen counter top or even closed away at the back of a kitchen cupboard; forgotten or on purpose left to grow and mature. It starts getting brighter but after a while dark brown spots and black patches begin to appear on them as they stay longer. They look off and unappealing, dark and unattractive but guess what they are still very PERFECT, discoloration and even time makes them perfect for the yummiest banana bread loafs and cakes like those from @sweetstuffkitchen. Okay okay, enough musings about bananas... FAM, don't wait to be perfect! your IMPERFECTIONS are what makes you unique, different and I dare say, PERFECT. Do not deprive humanity of your...
