THANKSGIVING

Hello people, how are you all doing?
I'm very certain that God has been faithful to you and there are so many things you are grateful for. Today is a glorious day and I would want you to set a specific time aside today to consciously thank God for all the amazing things that he has done for you that no other person could do for you, even the blessings and miracles that you think are "regular" or "normal" things like breathing and eating and even sleeping...not everyone can do that without aid or some form of pain.

The Bible says that God rejoices over us with singing Zephanaiah 3:17 and a heart of worship that will worship him in spirit and in truth is what he seeks; so rejoice in him and worship him today. let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Today, we at churchgirlzrock.blogspot.com are thanking God for a special friend and sister. it's her birthday today and we're celebrating with her. You are truly a shining light to this generation and God is yor eternal light!
We love you @uberchichi Chinwe 'Ccicci' Ihejirika! watch this space and we'll tell you all about her and her love for God...coming soon!

Am I that much of an olodo (dunce)? Every interview they will say they will get back to me but I'll never hear from them again, how will i get the experience? Is it not when i actually work? Abeg I don tire to dey try and even when I decided to follow my heart and I started doing my craft, it was as if they have banned the purchase of my products. CHANCE OR NOT

Ludo is quite an interesting game for me. I like it because I can think through and be strategic about my moves before making them and I can quickly recover from an opponent’s hard hit and make a comeback. Some say it’s a game of chance that can only be decided by a throw of the dice but then again, life hands us things sometimes that we must make the best out of. So this is my story… I was playing ludo with someone recently and the winner would be decided after five rounds of the game, so I cracked my knuckles, rolled up my sleeves, mentally psyched myself and thought “easy peasy, she can’t even stand my skills; I GAT THIS!!” So we started to play and yours truly was waving her bragging rights high in the sky like a banner for an upcoming election. The game was going in my favour… omo* I was on fire! Move after move, I frustrated all her efforts with my well thought out moves, my skills and years of experience playing the game. The score was now 4:1 and I was on my ...

SLUMBER PARTY 2

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day. this is Wednesday and some would like to say they have sooo much work to do or some would say they are approaching the weekend. I would like to say it's time to indulge you in my weekly banter...yipee! This was 2011...at my wedding! So I hosted the lovely children (between the ages of 5 & 15) from the children's church of Savannah Grace Chapel Abuja @savannahmins to a slumber party and wow did I have loads of fun! The theme for the slumber party was "PLAY AND PRAY" I honestly didn't think I'll be able to have as much fun as I did but the children were simply amazing and I learnt a lot from them. They arrived at my place - even though it is 'the end of the world' for some, my home was a haven and place of 'chilling' for the kids - they had lunch, watched television for a while waiting for every other child to arrive and went straight ahead to the first phase of their fun time with Pastor O...
