MY CONFIDENCE IS IN GOD

Good day everyone, today is such an amazing day for us all around the world because God is with us and he is helping us in all that we do...today and always! I'm sure you were expecting me to remind you of an annual event on this date...nope! I'm reminding you of God's faithfulness to us each passing day!

How are you doing today?! Thanks for reading, sending in your comments and sharing my posts.

Today, I want to share an excerpt from one of the books I’m currently reading…it really blessed me and I know you will be inspired by it too. Read on and enjoy!

Katie Brown weighs only 95 pounds and she is just a bit over 5 ft tall. She stands a lot taller than that however. Once, she jumped over a 100-foot wall (that’s equivalent to a 10 storey building).
Katie is a ‘difficulty climber’ (all those mountain climbing people) an endeavour in which she is a world champion and multiple gold medalist at the ‘X Games’ which you may have seen televised on networks like ESPN 2.
As you might imagine, it’s intimidating for a small person to attack climbing walls and cliffs that are twenty times her height but Katie says that her extreme faith brings her peace even when facing extremely dangerous challenges.
“I know I couldn’t have done what I’ve done without being a Christian” she explains. “My faith in God doesn’t get rid of my healthy fear or caution when climbing extreme heights but it does help me deal with it. It takes away a lot of the pressure because you know that God’s not going to condemn you if you don’t win. So there’s nothing to worry about. When I see others competing, I wonder how I could compete if I didn’t have faith in God.”
The ‘walls’ you face in your life might not be literal or physical. They might be emotional or in your relationship and it’s okay to feel intimidated or frightened by the walls in your life… but like Katie, you can rest secure on the truth that God will not condemn you if you can’t get to the top of your wall – or if it takes you a hundred attempts. God is more concerned in your faithful consistence…which is built on your confidence in his LOVE for you.
(Culled from The Confident Woman by Joyce Meyer)

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Pro 14:26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

1John 3:21-24
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

God is truly on our side; have faith and confidence in Him! Trust Him in all that you do, you’ll be amazed at the inside information He’ll give to you to prosper you in your business.Just ask Him, trust him!

Do have yourself an amazing day!

CHANCE OR NOT

Ludo is quite an interesting game for me. I like it because I can think through and be strategic about my moves before making them and I can quickly recover from an opponent’s hard hit and make a comeback. Some say it’s a game of chance that can only be decided by a throw of the dice but then again, life hands us things sometimes that we must make the best out of. So this is my story… I was playing ludo with someone recently and the winner would be decided after five rounds of the game, so I cracked my knuckles, rolled up my sleeves, mentally psyched myself and thought “easy peasy, she can’t even stand my skills; I GAT THIS!!” So we started to play and yours truly was waving her bragging rights high in the sky like a banner for an upcoming election. The game was going in my favour… omo* I was on fire! Move after move, I frustrated all her efforts with my well thought out moves, my skills and years of experience playing the game. The score was now 4:1 and I was on my ...

HAPPY 2020

Hey Y'all, So my daughter had a meltdown yesterday! Her insides were literally melting and running out through the entry and exit points and I was stunned by how fast her strength was deteriorating, her movements were becoming slow and how my bubbly, smiling, in-charge ‘Jesus-toddler’ was changing - and for not so good – right before my eyes. I was quiet. I watched. I held her and I rocked her back and forth and watched as at intervals her body rumbled and rejected the very things that give it vitality and strength. I was quiet! I was listening, listening for my heart but while at this, my deceiving ex was whispering, coaxing and even shouting at me, telling me the things that were wrong with my child but I was quiet and I listened. Then I heard it! I heard it over and over again by the friendly familiar voice and He said “STAND BY YOUR SACRIFICE…” At that point I knew we were under attack and I was being instructed by our Captain how to...

BE ENCOURAGED!

It's absolutely amazing to know that all you ever hoped to be, do or have is already in you. it's true and that's as plain as it gets..."Christ in me the hope of glory..." Sometimes we feel like we need to study more, acquire more knowledge and insight to prepare and equip us for what God has put in our hearts to do but guess what, all that 'equipment', resource, skill, talent, flair, gift that we need is already in us and what we need to do is STEP OUT!! Step out in faith on God's instruction on what he wants you to do. Don't wait to have an exclusive one on one interview with @tarafeladurotoye or @moabudu or any of your own mentors/role models to understand how they became who they are before you step out. Those opportunities are priceless and I advise that you jump at an exclusive chat with any of your mentors but don't seat on your bum and just wait! You'll be waiting for a long time but once you step out, I guarantee you that yo...
