MY OPINIONS

Hello ChurchGirlz and Guys who love us and read this blog, this is an amazing day and we rejoice and we're glad in it! Continually say that 'the Lord is good and his mercies endures forever' in your life, business, finances, ministry, home etc. God  is indeed good to us and has not ceased to do us good.

Today I want us to talk about our OPINIONs, yes our opinions. Many times when we speak and discuss, whether casually, at home or in formal meetings, what we relay are our opinions and perceptions about the subject matter...am I right?
My dictionary defined opinion as a belief or conclusion held with confidence and this is quite interesting to me because before you reach a conclusion about something you must have experienced the same outcome repeatedly right? So we can easily say that opinions are formed from experience.

I like this dictionary meaning because my belief in Christ and what he has done for me in his death, burial and resurrection form my opinion(s). My experiences of God's goodness, his peace and prosperity has brought me to my conclusions in any subject matter...any at all!

Has God provided for you and your family daily and even in some very impossible situations? So why will you be of the opinion that 'times are hard', 'no money in January' when daily you enjoy his provision? Has he healed your body and kept your spouse and children out of harm's way? How come you think that your world is an unsafe place full of disease and chaos? or that the nation's economy is crumbling?

No!

Fix your eyes on Jesus and all he has done for you, form your opinions on your experiences with Jesus in the place of worship and prayer, your experiences with Jesus as he leads you daily in your work, business, in running your home, in the people to meet and talk to...it's amazing how as you do this (focus on Jesus), your life actually shines brighter and brighter daily. your eyes are fixed on Jesus...none else!

Don't form your opinions based on people's experiences, not based on traditions, superstitions and customs, not based on your "mentor's" opinions, not based on your own bad or even good experiences but on Christ Jesus and him crucified!
Change your opinions about your life, your health, your country, about childbirth and parenting, about your health, marriage and business. Change it to what God thinks about you and what he has done for you through Jesus. Express these 'Jesus opinions' daily...speak about them to all that care to or refuse to listen...lol, sing about it, dance and rejoice in it; and you'll experience more of God's goodness.

I'd like to see your comments about this so we can talk more, please click on 'NO COMMENT' at the end of the post and you'll see the comment box. You can also reach us via iamachurchgirl@gmail.com and follow me on instagram @dunyilove (for now...lol).

CHANCE OR NOT

Ludo is quite an interesting game for me. I like it because I can think through and be strategic about my moves before making them and I can quickly recover from an opponent’s hard hit and make a comeback. Some say it’s a game of chance that can only be decided by a throw of the dice but then again, life hands us things sometimes that we must make the best out of. So this is my story… I was playing ludo with someone recently and the winner would be decided after five rounds of the game, so I cracked my knuckles, rolled up my sleeves, mentally psyched myself and thought “easy peasy, she can’t even stand my skills; I GAT THIS!!” So we started to play and yours truly was waving her bragging rights high in the sky like a banner for an upcoming election. The game was going in my favour… omo* I was on fire! Move after move, I frustrated all her efforts with my well thought out moves, my skills and years of experience playing the game. The score was now 4:1 and I was on my

PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS

There they are, sitting bright and sunny perched delicately, waiting to be unwrapped to reveal the creamy yummy goodness that is so sweet and decadent, smoothe and cool to the touch. Yes; ripe and ready to eat bananas are fancy like that. Lol, perfect! right?! But what would you say about overripe bananas? Sitting at the back of the kitchen counter top or even closed away at the back of a kitchen cupboard; forgotten or on purpose left to grow and mature. It starts getting brighter but after a while dark brown spots and black patches begin to appear on them as they stay longer. They look off and unappealing, dark and unattractive but guess what they are still very PERFECT, discoloration and even time makes them perfect for the yummiest banana bread loafs and cakes like those from @sweetstuffkitchen. Okay okay, enough musings about bananas... FAM, don't wait to be perfect! your IMPERFECTIONS are what makes you unique, different and I dare say, PERFECT. Do not deprive humanity of your
